FADING SHANGHAI

Spent a couple of days in Shanghai, 2011 as photographer in the Fina Synchro Championship, with 70-200mm F/2.8 and my beloved Canon 7D. Shanghai has undergoes radical changes in the past few decades, the cityscape has been getting worse, a inevitable outcome of rule by man, the party has switched 180 degree from socialism to capitalism, under the farmer based authorities.

Through the lens I tried to capture only a small piece of cityscape, as the overall scene is miserable. The old Shanghai under the KMT flag is no more, what I saw was only a raped city.
